As part of its efforts to develop cycling facilities, the town of Andrézieux-Bouthéon has installed an ALTAO® Fix’Air bike service station in the heart of the Parc des Bords de Loire.
This self-service bicycle facility offers cyclists a convenient and accessible maintenance point, close to cycle routes, walking trails and areas dedicated to active transport.
This bike repair station enables cyclists to easily carry out routine maintenance and repairs whilst out cycling, whether on their daily commute, a leisurely ride or a recreational outing.
A multi-purpose bike workstation for minor day-to-day repairs
The ALTAO® Fix’Air station combines two essential services for cyclists : a bike repair station and a bike pump station, all in one unit.
Thanks to the built-in tools and the bike stand, users can easily carry out various tasks: adjustments, tightening, minor repairs, tweaks or quick maintenance before setting off again.
The built-in bike pump also allows you to check tyre pressure and inflate the tyres on various types of bikes. Its universal head fits the main types of valves used on bikes, making it suitable for both conventional bikes and electric-assist bikes (e-bikes).
Local cycling facilities to promote active travel
Located in the Parc des Bords de Loire, this bike repair and pump station further enhances the services offered to cyclists by the town of Andrézieux-Bouthéon.
This local initiative demonstrates the region’s commitment to developing accessible cycling facilities and offering practical solutions to support everyday cycling.
Located near Altinnova’s manufacturing site, this facility also demonstrates close collaboration between a local authority committed to promoting active mobility and a French manufacturer of cycling infrastructure equipment.
This installation forms part of a local initiative to develop cycling facilities. In the Loire-Forez area, in Saint-Marcellin-en-Forez, five ALTAO® Fix’Air bike repair and tyre-inflation stations have also been installed to complement the existing facilities for cyclists.
