That is why the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region has turned to Altinnova. As a designer and manufacturer of cycling equipment, our mission is to promote cycling. Drawing on our 20 years of expertise, we have created the ‘Cycle Route of the Future’ in Condrieu.

A design by Altinnova

This rest stop for cycle tourists was produced entirely on our premises. From the design, created by our in-house design team, through to the manufacture of components and assembly, right up to on-site installation, everything is carried out at Altinnova in Bonson. We are committed to making the world more cycle-friendly, and this eco-designed rest stop perfectly embodies our values.

The “Véloroute du futur” cycle stop, dedicated to cycle tourism: a fully equipped spot to stop off and rest in Condrieu

This innovative relaxation area is divided into several zones, each offering very different but complementary services.

At the first module, cyclists have access to a range of services. Firstly, they can park their bikes securely in one of the lock-ups provided. To ensure optimum protection against theft, users must bring their own padlock to secure the sliding door.

Luggage can also be stored in designated lockers. These are secured with a standard key lock. In addition, two items of equipment for minor maintenance are built into the structure and freely accessible: a tyre-inflation station and tools

Are all the lockers full? Don’t panic! An open shelter can accommodate 4 bikes on ALTAO® Parco racks, as well as 2 e-bikes on the ALTAO® Parco VAE charging points provided for this purpose. Because staying hydrated whilst cycling is very important, a drinking fountain has been installed at the rear of this second module.

An expert in cycle infrastructure – but that’s not all!

We really do think of everything! All tourists and walkers will find a dining area comprising two benches/deckchairs and a table sheltered from the sun, perfect for a well-deserved break!

To round off this range of facilities designed for cycle tourism, a unit housing dry toilets is also available.

In short, there really is something for everyone and every need!

What’s more, this space is entirely self-sufficient. This is made possible by the solar panels installed on the ground near the rest area. As a result, all equipment requiring an electricity supply runs on entirely renewable solar energy!
