Altinnova carried out a major retrofit of 140 cycle parks in record time to ensure their compliance with the access system standards defined by Île-de-France Mobilité. – A retrofit is an operation that involves replacing old or obsolete components with more recent ones, by changing the technology for example.
Also supported by legislation such as the Mobility Orientation Act (LOM), this project is part of a strategic vision to equip all stations in the Île-de-France region with cycle parking facilities by 2030.
This ambitious project for SNCF Gares et Connexions is fully in line with the Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) strategy to make active mobility more attractive, develop train + bicycle intermodality and offer users reliable, safe and approved bike infrastructure.

To ensure the security of modernised bicycle parking facilities, the systems deployed by Altinnova and Diwio comply with two key compliance requirements established by Île-de-France Mobilités :
- TTPN (Standardised Shared Electronic Ticketing Terminal)
Defines the technical criteria enabling access control terminals to be compatible with different identification media (cards, badges, digital codes), while ensuring reliability and security.
- RCTIF (Île-de-France Shared Electronic Ticketing Reference System)
Ensures that all electronic ticketing cards, such as Navigo, can be read by any certified terminal, regardless of the operator. The result: maximum compatibility and enhanced security for all users.
