Bicycle shelters at Saint-Jorioz secondary school, Haute-Savoie
Committed to sustainable transport, Jean Monnet Secondary School in Saint-Jorioz, Haute-Savoie, recently opened a new cycle park. The facility comprisescycle shelters and bike racks designed and manufactured by Altinnova.
This infrastructure encourages pupils and staff to use bicycles and scooters for their daily journeys. Furthermore, through the installation of our bespoke ALTAO® Opencycle shelters and ALTAO® Parco cycle racks, Altinnova has demonstrated its expertise in the development of cycle parking facilities.
Parking for bicycles and scooters is now more convenient, thereby strengthening the region’s environmental initiative.

Promoting active travel in secondary schools in partnership with Altinnova
These facilities meet the growing demand for cycle shelters and secure parking for pupils and staff. The project at Jean Monnet Secondary School reflects Altinnova’s commitment to sustainable mobility. For this project, two key facilities have been installed:

The regional context of sustainable transport
Haute-Savoie has introduced an ambitious sustainable transport policy to encourage the use of environmentally friendly modes of transport.
