Cycle service stations throughout Royan Atlantique
- 20 cycle service stations
The Communauté d’Agglomération Royan Atlantique (CARA) has strengthened its commitment to active mobility by deploying almost twenty cycle service stations designed and manufactured by Altinnova.
Strategically located throughout the region, these facilities offer users practical solutions for maintaining and repairing their bikes.

Robust, tamper-proof equipment
All the bicycle service stations are designed and manufactured in France, in stainless steel for maximum robustness.
They are weatherproof, impact-resistant and vandal-proof, thanks to their solid anchoring to the ground, which guarantees stability and security.
Reliable and durable, these stations offer cyclists safe maintenance and inflation, while providing local authorities with a secure, long-term investment.
Adapted to the needs of cyclists
The installed fleet includes several models of service stations.
- ALTAO® T’Pump inflation station: ultra-practical, it holds the bike wheel during inflation. Its universal head fits all types of valve (Presta, Schrader and Dunlop).
- ALTAO® Fix repair totem: equipped with several essential tools for daily maintenance. The bike, suspended by the saddle, remains perfectly supported throughout the repair session.
- ALTAO® Fix’Air combined station: combines repair tools and a manual inflation pump for routine repairs.
These self-service stations provide invaluable assistance to both everyday cyclists and occasional visitors.

Extensive territorial coverage
The stations are located in several CARA communes, including :
- Royan
- Saint-Georges-de-Didonne
- La Tremblade
- Les Mathes
- Meschers-sur-Gironde
- Saint-Palais-sur-Mer
This location provides easy access to cycling services all along the cycle routes, particularly on major routes such as the Vélodyssée®.
