Cycling gear for and by children!
Several cycling facilities for children have recently been installedto encourage cycling from a very young age.Some are even personalised. Examples include the towns of Tournefeuille, Avignon, Voglans, Villarcher and Mauguio… where there are now service stations or bike lockers for adults and children alike!
A solution to promote cycling in primary schools
At the opening of the new children’s cycling facilities in Tournefeuille, both pupils and adults were delighted to discover the new facilities. You can see them smiling in front of the ALTAO® Fix repair station or using the ALTAO® Pump tyre-inflation station ! What’s more, it’s beenpersonalised with the pupils’ drawings! Altinnova’s cycle service stations can now be found near the Mirabeau, Georges Lapierre and Pablo Picasso school complexes.
A bike pump station installed at the secondary school
Maugio Secondary School, for its part, has provided its pupils with a self-service ALTAO®Pump tyre-inflation station. This means that everyone can check their tyre pressure and easily top them up if necessary.
Secure, covered cycle parking facilities
The Avignon Children’s Town Council proposed creating secure, sheltered bicycle parking spaces. Thanks to the ALTAO®Cover freestanding lockers, Altinnova provided atechnical solution that is both effective and quick to install. Now, budding cyclists can lock up their bikes safely.
In the Greater Lac Urban Community, there are now ALTAO®Cocoon secure bike lockers and an ALTAO®Duplex bike storage facility, both beautifullypersonalised with drawings by primary school pupilsfrom Voglans. It’s a lovely way to showcase how this equipment is used. It also helps to promote the benefits of cycling in this town near Aix-les-Bains.
