Three-wheelers (Bakfiets, Nihola, Babboe, etc.) are being developed in urban areas to meet the utilitarian needs of city dwellers who need to transport large volumes and/or loads.
There’s no problem taking children to school, doing the shopping, taking a pet to the vet, delivering goods… except for parking, as these vehicles are often expensive and rarely compatible with cycle parking facilities.

ALTAO® Cocoon Triporteur shelters have therefore been designed specifically to facilitate the use of these XXL bikes. Protected from the elements and vandalism, it is even possible to plug in the battery of the electric-assist versions to recharge it while parked!
If a public car park service is deployed, traditional bicycles can also be accommodated and protected there.
