Self-access bicycle parking at Montparnasse train station: a sustainable solution from Altinnova
Urban mobility is changing, and Altinnova is fully involved in this evolution. In partnership with SNCF Gares & Connexions and AREP, Altinnova is proud to announce its latest project: a 501 spaces self-service cycle park at Gare Montparnasse, in the heart of Paris.
Located in Hall 2, this modern, secure space meets the growing needs of cyclists at one of Paris’s busiest stations. By creating a space specially dedicated to bicycles, Altinnova is contributing to more active and environmentally-friendly mobility.

This free car park for Montparnasse station users has 501 spaces, including some for cargo bikes or wide bikes!
A strategic development to facilitate access for cyclists
The Gare Montparnasse is undergoing a major transformation, and is keen to offer its users, particularly the many commuters and urban travellers who choose to cycle. This high-capacity car park is designed to meet growing demand and is part of an overall strategy to encourage green travel. Altinnova, a specialist in solutions for cyclists, has designed this car park with easy, totally unrestricted access for greater flexibility.
The park includes 272 Optima V10 double stacked bike racks, 190 ALTAO® Parco parking racks, 33 urban A-shaped parking stands and 6 cargo bike racks!
A well-equipped bike park
In addition, an ALTAO® Fix repair station and an ALTAO®Pump inflate station are located at the entrance to the self-service bike stand. 4 columns of 4 lockers complete the services offered to cyclists in this station cycle park.

Every space in this open-access car park has been optimised to ensure the safety of bicycles. This means that users can park with complete peace of mind, whether they are just passing through or are regular visitors. Located in Hall 2 of the station, the layout guarantees direct access for cyclists without congestion. Altinnova has also taken care to make the space intuitive and quick to use, so that it is fluid and adapted to the needs of urban cyclists.
