On 19 and 20 May 2026, Altinnova took part in the “Anschluss erreichen – Die Konferenz für Radparken, E-Scooter und Fußverkehr” conference in Berlin, a benchmark event dedicated to bicycle parking, E-scooters and pedestrian mobility around stations. Organised by theInfostelle Fahrradparken for Deutsche Bahn, the event brought together a large number of European players involved in the development of sustainable mobility and intermodality.
Intermodality at the heart of exchanges
Over two days, conferences, collaborative workshops and site visits explored the challenges of connected mobility in and around stations. Discussions focused in particular on :
- bicycle-train intermodality ;
- secure bicycle parking facilities;
- accessibility and inclusion of users ;
- development of station forecourts ;
- integrating micro-mobility solutions;
- the innovations that will shape the station of the future.
Participants also discovered a number of exemplary projects in Berlin and the Brandenburg region, illustrating the developments underway to make travel smoother, more sustainable and more accessible to all.
Altinnova presents its French expertise in bicycle parking
The conference was a great opportunity for Altinnova to share its expertise and vision of cycling infrastructure.
Corinne Verdier, President of Altinnova, presented the company and its solutions in a one-minute pitch to the audience, highlighting our commitment to the development of active mobility and intermodality.
Louis Crimé, bicycle parking advisor at Diwio, was the speaker at the workshop entitled “Operating secure bicycle parking facilities – ideas for practice”.
An ideal opportunity to talk to local authorities, mobility operators and infrastructure managers about best operating practices, user expectations and ways of encouraging the use of bicycles on a daily basis.
Inspiring exchanges to build the mobility of tomorrow
In addition to the presentations, the conference provided an opportunity for a wide-ranging exchange with European players in the sector. The feedback presented and the discussions held confirmed the importance of developing high-performance, secure cycle parking facilities that are fully integrated with public transport networks.
Altinnova’s plans to support local authorities in their transition to more sustainable, efficient and attractive forms of mobility are based on these ideas.
We would like to thank the organisers and all the speakers for the quality of the discussions and the inspiration they provided throughout these two days in Berlin.
