Cycling to the stadium? It’s now possible and encouraged!
AS Saint-Étienne, in partnership with Altinnova, is launching a new service for its supporters: free, secure bicycle parking with the installation of ALTAO® Mobile bicycle racks in the immediate vicinity of the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard stadium for the last 5 home matches (Red Star, Annecy, Dunkerque, Troyes and Amiens).
This initiative, known as “Peloton Vert”, is a test of a sustainable mobility approach aimed at facilitating access to the stadium while encouraging cycling on match days.
A new way of coming to the stadium
From this season onwards, fans will be able to cycle to the stadium and benefit from secure parking on the south forecourt, just a few metres from the stands.
The system is accessible up to 3 hours before kick-off, so you can leave your bike in complete peace of mind during the match.
To guarantee optimum service :
- Free parking compatible with all types of bicycles on a solid, stable structure to prevent falls.
- Limited capacity
- Booking is strongly recommended via the online ticketing service
A service designed with cyclists in mind
The Peloton Vert is more than just a bike park. Cycling fans also benefit from an additional service:
- free mechanical diagnosis for the first 50 bikes by Pont et Pignons and Ocivélo specialist mechanics
- returning the bike with its diagnosis after the match
This initiative not only ensures that the bikes are safe during the meeting, but also helps cyclists to maintain their equipment.
