At Altinnova, cycling isn’t just a trend or a hot topic. Since 2003, we have been designing and manufacturing secure cycle parking solutions for local authorities, businesses and condominiums, with a strong belief in making cycling easier and more sustainable.

Altinnova has just been recognised for this consistency between its rhetoric and its actions: it has been awarded the Gold level of the “Employeur-Pro-Vélo” label, the highest level of the national label. This distinction is also accompanied by European Cycle Friendly Employer© certification, awarded by the European Cyclists’ Federation.

Awarded by FUB (Fédération française des Usagers de la Bicyclette) with the support of ADEME, the “Employeur-Pro-Vélo” label recognises employers who put in place concrete and sustainable conditions to encourage cycling to and from work. The GOLD level is awarded to the most committed organisations, those that make cycling an integral part of their operations.

A natural approach for a pro-bike designer-manufacturer
For Altinnova, this certification is not a recent transformation, but the recognition of an already deep-rooted commitment. As a specialist in cycling equipment, we know the key factors that are needed to remove the disincentives to cycling: safety, comfort, ease of use, accessibility and reliability of infrastructure.
We have therefore used the label’s tools and our business expertise to structure and formalise a coherent in-house cycling policy.

Obtaining the GOLD level is based on a rigorous assessment carried out by AFNOR Certification, based on the key principles at the heart of the “Employeur-Pro-Vélo” label: clear management of the approach, appropriate facilities, services to encourage cycling, internal communication and attention to cyclists’ safety.
This recognition underlines the maturity of our cycling policy and our ability to deploy solutions that are effective, sustainable and adapted to actual use. It also confirms the relevance of our approach: cycling works when it is thought of as a complete system, and not as an isolated action.

Being awarded the Gold level of the “Employeur-Pro-Vélo” label reinforces our legitimacy in our market. As a designer and manufacturer of cycling solutions, we apply the same principles internally as we do for our customers.
